Stewardship

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17

At the heart of our Christian journey is the recognition that all creation is a gift from a generous God. Our response to God’s grace is deep gratitude and life-changing generosity. Whether you’re making a commitment to pledge or making a one-time donation, your gifts make a tangible difference in our worship, community life, and our outreach to the world.

We believe that responding to God’s blessings by giving freely of our time, talent, and resources helps all of us grow in the grace and knowledge of God. Your generosity can change your life and strengthen the mission and ministry of Good Shepherd.

Pledge

What is a pledge? A pledge is an estimate of how much money you plan to give to Good Shepherd in a given year.  It is not a binding contract. If circumstances change, pledges may be revised up or down depending on your situation by contacting the church office, 316-721-8096.

Why pledge? Your pledge makes it possible for Good Shepherd to create a budget for our staffing, ministries, programs and outreach for the coming year.

How do I pledge? You may pledge by filling out a pledge card and delivering it to the church. Pledge cards are available by contacting the church office, 316-721-8096 or . Pledges may be paid a variety of ways including Auto Debit.

Donate

The ministries of Good Shepherd welcome all gifts. If you want to support a particular group or ministry with a donation, make a note in the memo line of your check or contact the church office, 316-721-8096.

Volunteer

Volunteering impacts our worship, community life, and outreach to the world. Where ever you are in your faith journey, you can choose one (or a few!) of many opportunities to serve at Good Shepherd. Whether you are good with numbers, words, technology, or people, sharing your gifts and skills makes a difference. Giving of your time includes attending worship, participating in church school or youth group, and other church events. The possibilities are endless.

God gave us all individual talents and skills we can use to serve others and the church. For more information on how to get involved contact the church office, 316-721-8096, .
